a copy of the passport,

a residency permit (if the employer or interested party is a non-national) and registration form – issued by the Census Office,

a copy of the legalized or apostilled marriage certificate,

proof of application labor registration, obtainable at the insular Department of Labour and Social Affairs,
*
proof of application employment permit,
*
a declaration signed by the employer/ petitioner that the person concerned is not on the island and that the employer/ petitioner is familiar with the policy of the Governor of St. Maarten.
This requires that a person requesting a work/ residency permit must reside outside of the Netherlands Antilles, while their documents are being processed and while awaiting a decision.
